Essex Glam Triple Platform Creepers

I have a bit of an affinity with platform shoes. Any type, boots, shoes, trainers, whatever, I have to have it. I actually have a pair of white TUK creepers but they're hard to put with things, and they're flat, so they make my legs look really short and squat. Bleh. So, I bought these, in black, so I could have a pair of creepers I could just throw on haha.

I bought these from Allsole on eBay and they took about a day to arrive. Speedy and free shipping is always a freakin' bonus! I actually have a couple of Doc Marten-style boots I want to buy from them, so I might place another order once I have a bit more money.

So, onto the shoes!

The shoes are made from suede and the platforms from I suppose, a foam/plastic material? They seem like they'll hold up well to wear and tear. My platform converse have lasted a year and haven't worn down terribly, so I'm hoping these will be the same! They're also very light, which is perfect for stomping around town in. They didn't need much breaking in, perfect for me because I have a constant problem with shoes slipping off and causing blisters, and my TUK creepers are terrible for that, sadly.

I had another lazy day today, so just dressing light (my leopard shirt again whoops.)
T shirt - Urban Outiftters
Leggings - New Look
Shoes - Essex Glam
Hair dye - Schwarzkoph Live XXL in Red Berry Passion

I'm waiting on another package to arrive, so next time, I'll be showing off that!

Later!

I am not sponsored, nor am I paid for any reviews. I buy everything with my own money and review in my own words.

  1. Hello there! Nice blog and thank you for your review! I wanted to ask you, do these creeperes tend to fit tight or loose?I mean, should I order a size up or a size down? Also, which is their current condition, now that you own them for almost a year ? Could you possibly post any more pictures of them? Thank you! Demi.

    1. I'm so sorry I haven't replied in so long!
These creepers slip around a bit, but fit well with a thicker pair of socks. They're definitely not a size too big, just quite roomy.
They're still in great condition as I'm writing this in December. They're my go-to pair of shoes after a pair of converse, and they've held up beautifully. I take care not to get them very wet if I can help it, and I try not to get them too dirty.
I have found that on smooth concrete they can be slippy, especially if the bottoms are a bit worn down (learned that one the hard way... haha) but other than that, they're great!
